Update: Roman Missal, Third Edition

We are beginning to receive information about the Roman Missal, Third Edition. There will be a chapel edition as well as an altar edition. We are taking pre-orders via our website  so that we can ship the books as soon as they are released, in order to allow parishes maximum time to prepare for the November 27th implementation date.

If you are looking for supplemental materials to help prepare for the upcoming changes to the Mass, Reilly's carries several titles and can order more.

Parish Guide to Implementing the Roman Missal, Third Edition
$9.95

From the publisher: "This parish guide will help leaders-priests, liturgists, musicians, DREs, principals, teachers, youth ministers, and volunteers-bring this new translation to life in the parish. The guide includes practical resources to create the parish implementation plan including a calendar, ministry-specific suggestions, "to do" lists, bulletin inserts, homily helps, and a comprehensive bibliography of other available materials. Reawaken your parish's love for the Eucharist as you introduce them to the changes in what they say and hear through the simple, practical steps laid out in this parish guide."

Understanding the Revised Mass Texts
$1.25
From the Publisher: Written by Paul Turner, a priest of the diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph, this booklet provides a brief yet deep explanation of how and why the prayers and responses of the Mass are changing. It will help you understand these new words so that you will be able to participate at Mass when the translation is ready to use. Because changes have been made to the Order of Mass since its recognitio in 2008, a second edition of Understanding the Revised Mass Texts is now available.

Understanding the Revised Mass Texts, Leader's Edition
$8.95
From the Publisher: The second edition of this Leader's Edition is the companion to the booklet, Understanding the Revised Mass Texts, written by Paul Turner with additional material by Kathy Coffey. The booklet is reprinted in this Leader's Edition with page specific catechetical notes for adult faith formation session leaders.
Inside you will find:
  • A pastoral introduction;
